1. Trader service: we import in our own name

If you already know what you want to buy and from whom, we handle the import:

1. We buy and import the goods in the name of Spletni Planet through the Port of Koper.
2. We clear customs in Slovenia, where import VAT is not paid at the border but accounted for in the periodic VAT return.
3. We resell the goods to you with a VAT-free invoice (intra-community supply, reverse charge). You account for VAT in your own country’s return – no upfront payment.
4. We deliver by road to your warehouse.

What you don’t need: a Slovenian VAT number, a fiscal representative, or cash to pre-pay import VAT.

Requirement: an active EU VAT number registered in VIES. For VAT treatment in your specific case, please also check with your accountant.

2. Pay 30% at order, the balance only before delivery

When you buy directly in China, suppliers almost always ask for 100% before shipment – you pay today for goods you will see in two or three months.

In practice we cover the production and transport period – typically 60 to 120 days – so your cash stays in your business. Terms, minimum order and service fee are set out in the proposal.

3. Sourcing: we find and verify the supplier

Know what you need but not yet who should make it? We search manufacturers, compare offers, verify the company and inspect the goods before shipment. We buy FOB, so we choose the shipping and there are no hidden costs on arrival.

4. Shipping Asia – Koper – your warehouse

Koper has direct connections to major Asian ports and is the shortest sea route to Central Europe – Slovenia, Italy, Austria, Hungary, Croatia and beyond. We manage the vessel, port arrival, documents, customs clearance and road delivery, with one contact person.

FAQ

Do I need a Slovenian VAT number?
No. We import in our name; you buy from an EU company with a VAT-free reverse-charge invoice.

Do I save VAT?
No – VAT is still due and you account for it at home under reverse charge. The benefit is that you don’t pre-pay it at customs and don’t tie up cash.

What if the supplier misses deadlines or quality?
You pay the balance only before delivery. With our sourcing service we verify the supplier and inspect goods before shipment.

I already lost money with a supplier. Can you recover it?
We don’t do debt recovery, but we can set up your next imports so it doesn’t happen again.
